Programme 2017

From cell physiology to integrated signals and emerging brain functions

Course Directors: Egidio D’Angelo, Claudia Gandini Wheeler-Kingshott & Nikos Logothetis

Date: 29th November – 3th December 2017

ABSTRACT BOOK

The 2017 Course of the School of Brain Cells and Circuits will be dedicated to current understanding of how the brain works, offering a platform to merge expertise from scientists working on cellular physiology, computational modeling and integrated brain signals using magnetic resonance imaging. Bringing together these communities, offering advanced teaching sessions on key topics will foster discussion on the origin of fMRI and discuss where bottom-up and top-down computational models can and need to meet to explain brain functions.
